Amgen (AMGN) will supply Temodar, a medication used to treat multiple sclerosis (MS), to India for the first time, according to Biomedicine Today. Two thirds of all cancer treatments provided in India are supplied by MS, making it the country's main source of cancer medications. The second-biggest source is MS. Amgen's Indian partner Novartis ships the MS medication to India in addition to other biopharma shipments from Amgen's Indian partner Cipla. In 2014, the two major pharmaceutical companies announced their intention to collaborate.
